OT-- Prayer Warriors needed

My sister decided to have WLS after seeing the results my daughter and I had and she went for her first appt with Dr. C and her insurance has approved the surgery.  Dr. C told her early January would be when her surgery would be done and she should get the call this week to finalize the date.     To make a long story short, her husband was told yesterday that he has stage 4 cancer throughout his body and has been given "months" to live.    They are taking the news much better then I could ever imagine but they definitely need prayers.   They accept that this is going to happen, but I just ask for prayer for strength for them and their children.   My sister still wants the surgery and her husband is encouraging her to follow through.   I think they both know that she won't survive long without the surgery and she is not able to get a job as bad as her health is now and that is going to be necessary down the road after he is gone.

I can't think of a more caring group of people then the ones on this board.  Thank you in advance for your support and prayers on their behalf.

Of course your family will be in my prayers. That's devastating news and so sad. I do believe in miracles and where there is life there is hope.  Will he get a second opinion? Everyone is soooo different but I know at least 5 close people to me that were more or less in the same "months to live" category who all are now in remission. (I can pray and hope for you.) Please take care.

Sally I'm so sorry to hear such tragic news.  Your family will be in my prayers!  How selfless of your brother-in-law to continue to want your sis to do what's best for her!  I truly admire their relationship!
Blessed be

Oh Sally -- I am so sorry to hear this sad news.  They will all definitely be in my prayers -- prayers for a miracle, as well as for strength and comfort through their ordeal.  They are fortunate to have you there for them.  I know you will be a tremendous support for all of them.   God bless you all - Maria
