Good Checkup!!

Went to see my primary over the weekend. Good report .. blood sugar is normal and I'm on regular foods now. I was taking 90 units of insulin, 1 Actos, and 4 glucovance pills per day. So far, no more insulin or actos and only 2 glucovance pills per day. One of my blood pressure meds has been removed, only one pill per day!! BP was 110/70 .. excellent!!! I'm down 27 pounds in 3 weeks and have a little more spring in my step.. I'm lovin this ...

Thanks for the support .. to me this is one of the best parts of the surgery .. getting off the meds ... I wasn't very fond of needles .. and had to take insulin

I still test my sugar daily, but that's not so bad. I just pray that it continues .. Ron

It will keep going with your awesome attitude!!!! Just remember, when you're out as far as I am, don't get discouraged when the weight comes off slowly. It will!

I've been told that ... Also since I'm eating real food again, not to get discouraged if I gain a pound or two .. I'll lose more once I get a fill. Talked to my surgeon today and I'm scheduled for my first fill on the 28th .. I have a 10 cc band and we start with 3cc !! I must admit .. I feel better ... Here's to looking as good as you when I drop a lot more weight LOL ..
