I am posting this again so i can find more localized help...Thanks hi everyone, i have been lurking here for awhile now and i finally decided to introduce myself. My name is Tamika and I am a 33 yr old single parent of a 12yr old son and we live in NYC.  My BMI is 42 and I have finally chosen a Dr. (i hope). I went to a seminar and I really like Dr Brian Jacob. However, I cant seem to find any of his patients who I can talk to. I would like to talk to some prior to our consultation Dec 7. So i guess my question is, has anyone here used Dr Jacob of the Baricenter in NYC????? All information is appreciated be it good or bad Thanks Tamika

Hi Tamika,

Sorry, I do not have Dr. Jacob, but just wanted to say Hi and welcome to the NY forum!

Why don't you call his office and ask for some referrals?

Good luck,

Hi Tamika.  I looked at the list of docs who are registered on this site, but he's not registered. What hospital is he at?  .  I know Drs. Ren and Fielding in NYC have a big following.  My doctor, Shawn Garber, has a big following as well; he's in New Hyde Park, about 30 min from NYC, but if you don't have a car, I guess that wouldn't be practical.  There are other docs in NYC, if you asked here, you'd get several responses. Hope this helps--good luck.
