Dr. Dibenedetto in Rochester

Hi All, I'm new here, and happy to have this great new resource!  I am currently seeking surgery with Dr. Anthony Dibenedetto- formerly of the Lockport area, but just recently new to Rochester at Rochester General.  Has anyone out there been a patient of Dr. Dibenedetto's?  I would like some feedback.  I was originally interested in the doctor's at Strong, but they keep refusing to book me for an info session, because my BMI is borderline at 35 (yet I do have three comorbidities).  Also, I've heard their process takes a long time, and Dr. Dibenedetto could perform the surgery sooner for me.  Any opinions?  Thanks!!

I had Dr. D in lockport and thought he was wonderful.....I had surgery on Jan 30, 06 and the girl wo had it done the same day a me had a borderline BMI and he did hers as well. He is an awesome Doctor and I would recommend him to anyone who asked. He follows through and will even come see you in the middle of the night if necessary. Thanks so much for the reply!  It's so nice to hear from one of his patients.  He seemed like a great doctor to me, it was just scary not being able to see any of his patients (since he is new to the area).  I read over your profile- you look great!  I am very excited to see how the process goes.  I have my next appointment with him on Dec 19th!
