Pretty soon I'll need....

a wig. My hair was thin to begin with. If this keeps up, I'm going to need a wig. It's getting noticably thinner. There's a nice shop around the corner from me. Maybe it's time to go window shopping.

If I didn't know it would cause so much damage, I would cut it super short and bleach it blonde. I know I can't do that right now...I'll really go bald!!

sorry to hear about the hair...they say it usually comes back...make sure you are getting your protein levels every day...I have thin hair also, but I've been lucky and it hasn't been too bad... they do have fabulous wigs now though Rosemary

Yup...protein levels are great. I think it's just like everyone always says...the trauma of major surgery and the quick weight loss. I'll live with it. I'll probably wind up cutting it very, very short.

The quality wigs are very nice now.

Mine thinned out pretty bad at one point....i used little extensions in spots that needed it.  I also was able to put a ponytail right over the spot it was its worst.  It does stop eventually. I have a nice head of hair again, actually came back fuller and curlier..go figure..  Hang in there.  People are more likely to notice how good you are looking with your weight loss then your hair.... It's a little harder to hide thin spots when you have short hair...no pony tail option.

Love you avatar! You look adorable.

Mine thinned some, too, not that I have thick hair to begin with.  I held off dying my hair for the first year because I didn't want to lose any more, but it calmed down and now at 18 months, it's back to it's not very thick before surgery consistency.  If would have been nice if after surgery, it got thicker, but I'll take me being thin with thinnish hair, than thick hair and me being heavy any old day. Did that make sense? It did in my head, lol. Sue

You have to stay in shape. My grandmother, she started walking five miles a day when she was 60. She's 97 today and we don't know where the hell she is. - Ellen DeGeneres

It did make sense, and I agree with you...I'd rather be thin with thin hair than fat with thick hair.

I can live with thin hair...have my entire life. I can deal with it.
