WOW!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!

Wow.  So today was my bariatric clearance at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip.  If you use my surgeon then you know that you have to have all of your paperwork cleared there before even getting a date or meeting with your surgeon.  So I was cleared and I had the appt. with my surgeon for Dec. 4^th but since I am done early I got pushed up to Nov. 14^th which is next Wednesday.  I am so excited and nervous al in one.  It seems like such a reality now.  I started my journey on July 3^rd and what seemed like forever now seems like it went by so fast.  I am hoping to get a date between Dec. 22 and Jan. 2 because my company is shut down for the holidays during that time.  My birthday is Dec. 20 so what an awesome birthday and Christmas gift to myself!  The only thing that has me nerve wrecked is the insurance.  I hope everything goes smoothly with them.  While I have done EVERYTHING they have asked there is still a chance they can say whatever.  Who knows with insurance?  I have Cigna so they aren’t the easiest.
