Anybody have Dr. Clarke? I'm a newbie

I'm a newbie here and have loved what I have seen so far.  I'm curious if anybody here has had Dr. Clarke in Schenectady, NY.  I'm wondering if there was any problems or great stories out there dealing with him.  Thanks. I should say that my name is Kent and I'm a 26 year old male due to get gastric bypass done on November 29th.  After 5 weeks of the shake diet, I'm growing restless, but have dropped some weight.  I started at Dr Clarke's office at 386 and am down to 350 as of last Monday, hopefully more as of tomorrow.  I guess I'm just gonna search around this site and see what other things I can do and find out on here.

I know a few people who had their RNY with Dr Clarke, and a couple who had Lirio... all were very happy with their treatment.  If I had decided to go with the RNY, I would have gone to one of them as well as Ellis is less than 10 min from my house. Best of luck

Welcome Kent!! Congrats on getting through the 1st 5 weeks of Medifast... been there, done that and I know how difficult it can be - I had 12 weeks of it!!! I had surgery 2 weeks ago today actually & I can say that Dr Clarke is great (so is his operating team)!!!! He is very personable & easy to talk to!! He took the time to explain anything & everything to me & even my brother who brought me to the hospital. I never felt rushed at all - he always has time for his patients!! His office staff is very nice too & will answer any questions you may have!! I also found the staff at Ellis to be great too!!! Everyone was very nice & showed a genuine concern for how you were feeling!! (oh & btw - every gastric bypass patient at Ellis gets a private room... a nice thing if you ask me!!)
