HELLO I'M A NEWBIE TO THIS BOARD..

HI EVERYONE..  MY NAME IS CRYSTAL, AND I JUST MOVED TO NEW HARTFORD, NY FROM MISSISSIPPI.  I USED TO POST ON THE MISSISSIPPI BOARD, AND I STILL TALK ON THERE SOME, BUT I WANTED TO MEET SOME PEOPLE THAT ARE AROUND MY AREA.  I HAD RNY SURGERY 12/13/05 AND I HAVE LOST 140 POUNDS, AND I HAVE RECENTLY HAD A PANNULECTOMY OR TUMMY TUCK.  I GUESS TO TELL YOU A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF, I AM 29 YEARS OLD, AND I HAVE ONE DAUGHTER, SARAH SHE IS 5 AND A STEP DAUGHTER, KRISTINE SHE IS 10, SHE STILL LIVES IN MS, HOWEVER.  I WENT THROUGH A LOT TO GET MY SURGERY, BUT I MADE IT AND I COULDN'T HAVE BEEN HAPPIER.  I  DID HAVE COMPLICATIONS WITH MY SURGERY, BUT I CAME THROUGH IT OK. WELL  I HOPE TO MEET SOME NEW PEOPLE, ITS ALWAYS EASIER IF YOU HAVE SOME PEOPLE TO TALK TO THAT HAVE BEEN WHERE YOU ARE. TAKE CARE, CRYSTAL

Welcome Crystal.  It sounds as if you have been doing really well with your weight loss.  My WLS was 7 months ago so I consider myself a relatively newbie post-op. Everything is fine as of right now and I'm feeling well. I am making sure that I walk 2-4 miles a day and try to be as active as I can be. I park the car a distance from the store and take the stairs instead of the elevator. Small things like that add up. I'm glad that you joined NY and hope to see you posting soon.

welcome to the best board OH has to offer ..... this board is filled with tons of success storys and people who go thru exacley what you are going thru......if it were not for this board and its members and this site i would not have had the success i have had!!!!! good luck and god bless to you

wow! you look great! I hope to hit my goal, I am about 35 pounds from it.. My doctor says I'm fine where I am at, but I do want to slim down a little more.  There's always those last few stubborn pounds! lol   Everyone on here is so friendly, I just want to thank Y'all  ( yeah, there goes my southern accent! lol) for making me feel so welcome. just keep doing what your doing and you will be fine its rough in the maintence world but loving every minute of it

I had my TT this year also and Im thrilled with the results. Hope you enjoy you're 1st NY winter!

I had the same type of TT that you did. My lower tummy still feels a little numb does yours? Sometimes even almost two months out, I still get sore if I don't wear my binder. Do you? Just curious.
