Dr. Collin E. M. Brathwaite

Hi All!!! Has any one here used Dr. Collin Brathwaite? What did you thing of him? What was the process like for you. I'm still looking for a surgeon and I really liked Dr. Brathwaite after I attended his informational seminar. His was not the first one I attended, it was the third. Any input both positive or nagative would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Darice, I had my LAP RNY with Dr. Brathwaite on 12/18/06. I highly recommend him. He was great. I haven't had any problems. I've lost a total of 110 pounds so far and still going. I've never dumped, never had a stricture. One of the questions I had for dr. brathwaite during the informational seminars was regarding the strictures. He informed me that none of his patients have ever gotten one of these. You can PM me with any questions you have. I'll be happy to answer them. My user name is MEGCAT.

I had my LAP RNY by Dr. Brathwaite on May 29, 2007 and I highly recommend him. He is an awesome DR. and an awesome person. I have had no complications ( Thank God) I know 5 other people who he also did the surgery on and they are all doing well also. Good luck with your search. Tina

Hi. I am a patient of Dr. Braithwaite. So far so good. I feel wonderful with no complications. He is very well thought of by his peers.

Unfortunately, I heard through the grapevine that he is leaving to head the Bariatric Center at Winthrop Hospital. I can not vouch for the doctor who has been working with him. I only met him once. Dr. K?????????

my only thing about dr braitwait that i can think of is that he doesnt see his patients post op he has his office help do it ..... and i really dont care for that ! otherwise i have been a few friends support when they went for their consult and only met him once... he seemed very nice and calm,,, im more into a dr with some bedside manor i also want to see the hands that cut me ... i used dr cooperstone i had major success but i wouldnt recomend him either....... he only does open... a good friend of mine used dr arif ahmad and rants and raves about him... i hope this helps your search
