questions at pre-op meeting

Just wondering if there are any key questions to ask when I go to the pre-op meeting with the doctor or the group meeting.  Thanks for any help. Christine

There are so many!  You'll be amazed at how many come to mind once you're there!!! 

What surgery are you going to have?

I am having the lap RNY. My surgery date is Nov. 20.  Christine

My surgeon had a great hand-out with alot of questions answered.  But, you might want to ask about length of stay in hospital, etc.  Hopefully, they will give you a chart on what you can eat after surgery.  Make sure you get your vitamins and a few days of what you can eat after getting home.   Rosemary
