Good Sam is NOT a center of excellence yet because they don't do the "high volume" of surgery that is required to achieve this status as per Dr. Cussatti and Roseann. They are comming back to Good Sam in 6 months to reevalute us though 
There's a new surgeon now at Good Sam that also does bariatric surgery, so that's 3 now which in time will get our numbers up to what the commitee wants! Did your daughter ever consider another surgeon? I think Mercy is a center of excellence and that's where Dr. Garber works out of....something to think about
