Sure you can. It depends on your taste.  I love Amplify from GNC, which is vanilla powder. I put it in my blender with skim milk and lots of ice. It comes out like a vanilla milkshake. Look for something with a high protein gram amount. Mine iss 22 grams per scoop in an 8 oz. glass of milk.( Count the milk as protein too.) Before you buy a whole container of anything, ask for a sample so you are not stuck with something you might not like. Good Luck.

Hi Kim, You must be sooo excited that your day is almost here!!! I had the same question you did about the protein drinks. Dr. Cussatti told me to be sure they are well blended. I didn't use the powders; I lived on the Isopure from GNC. It's like Kool Aid, and comes in different flavors. (I was just too lazy to worry about blending drinks; especially when I went back to work.) When you drink the protein drinks (Isopure or the powdered ones) he allows it to be counted towards your fluid intake for the day; so it has a double bonus. However, be forewarned that as you progress, he likes his pts to get their protein from food as much as possible.  You know what, come to think of it, I have a large container of protein powder that I never even opened. It's berry flavored. If you would like it, I would be more than happy to give it to you. Let me know. I also have a couple of bottles of Isopure that you can have as well, if you would like. Anyhow, my dear, I wish you well. I'm sure everything will go great----you're in the best of hands.  When you reach the loser's bench you're life will forever change. If there is anything I can do, please don't hesitate to ask. When everything is over, please have Tina let me know you're OK (being as Tracy is off somewhere cruising in the middle of the ocean LOL!!!!!) See ya on the Loser's Bench!!!!!(between Tina and me!!!!)

Sure ya can!  I disliked all of the specialty whey and soy proteins.  My nutritionist told me I could have Sugar Free Carnation Instant Breakfast (blue box).  I lived on it for nearly 2 months!!
