Butt Pain and excess skin

I posted this on the main message board too.. but you guys have always had great support and advice that I wanted to come here and get your advice..... I don't know how to exactly describe this issue but I'll do my best.   If I am sitting on a hard chair my tailbone pokes through and it really hurts.. so I got one of those special pillows that raise me up and have an opening right at the tailbone spot... so that helps quite a bit with staight sitting problems.. my problem comes when I am in a not straight up and down sitting position.. like in bed or in a recliner or a squishy chair..  I have so much extra skin on my butt that I constantly sit on it with the very pointy and painful tailbone.  It hurts so much....  I have bruises back there from it...  Does anyone have any ideas how I can either "pull" the skin back.. something to wear to do the same thing or any other even semi wonderful advice to help eleviate this problem...  I spend most of the time I am on my laptop sitting on the bed with one of those backpillows with the arms and I just can't do it for very long with the pinching and extreme pain...  Looking forward to any suggestions.... Jenny

I don't know if you've tried shapewear, sort of a cross between an old fashioned girdle and underwear, made from stretchy microfiber. I think you might have a very good case however for medical necessity in relation to plastic surgery. Have you talked to a plastic surgeon about this?

Good luck and keep us posted. You look great!
