Mixers? Blenders?
I use the Tupperware 16 oz. shaker when I needed to mix a shake away frome home at work. At home I used the shaker or a regular blender. For pureeing foods I used a mini chop food processor or blender. My husband is a recent post-op, and finds that the shaker is better than the blender for him, as the blender produces too much air in the shake. This never bothered me. There was no Magic Bullet around when I had my surgery, though.
I love my magic bullet too! It's not only for shakes, you can make egg salad, soft tuna, mix up the pancakes that are made w/ cottege cheese & sour creme, etc.
AND, yes, I use the Spirutein. I use Vanilla & mix w/low-fat milk, 2 ice cubes & frozen strawberries. The only way I can mix that all is in the bullet.
