Pelvic Ultrasound post WLS

Has anyone ever had to have a pelvic ultrasound after they had WLS? If so how did you get in 32oz of water within an hour of the procedure????????? I am scheduled for one this coming Tuesday and I can't imagine drinking that much water in one hour. Looking for any suggestions.

Hi Sally, I had one just last week and had the same worries. They told me to drink what I could and if my bladder was not full they would do it internally. NO problem! I had both the pelvic one and then the internal one. Good luck! Hugs, Chris

WOWSERS, that's a lot in an hour! I remember when I had my kidney stone...so much pain, they were trying to make me drink about that amount. I told them I'd pee on the table if they made me drink more. OOOPS, bad threat. They told me to keep drinking and be quiet. LOL I never did pee on the table, fortunately and did make it through. You'll do just fine!

awww poor sweetie.. that is a lot to drink.. I guess you just sit and sip sip sip and think or do nothing else until its in! yikes... hang in there it will be ok! Sandra
