seems like its taking forever for insurance approval

its been 3 full weeks since my doc appt.....  why oh why is it taking so long....i know Deanne told me it could take up to 4 weeks.... but i truely didn't expect it to actually take that long.   I'm so nervous and anxious I can't concentrate on anything!     I jsut want to hear from them.... yes or no...whatever...an answer.... so i can move to the next step....     ok, thanks for listening to my whine a bit....

Dealing with the insurance company certainly defines the word "patience." Keep after them and don't leave it to chance. Your papers could be lying under a pile on someone's desk. Meanwhile, does your insurance company require a 6 month consecutive documented diet and exercise program? You could start that now if they do. It will be almost a month again by the time your PCP again. Good Luck to you.

hi whiney.................i can identify with that massive anxiety you have............i felt, this was actually worse than the surgery itself.........HANG IN THERE ..you can even call ind. health today and ask for the status, or even if it was submitted and take it from there to relieve the stress.................dr. caruana has to write it up even before deanna gets it.................he has not only the surgeries, but then needs to sit down sometime and go over all the paperwork for all the patients to be submitted.........after  dr.c  writes it out,, someone types it and faxes  it to ind. health, and then 24-48 hours after that, u will have a approval..YES, a approval. i sent u a pm , also, love, hugs, best wishes, christina
