Caffeine or No Caffeine: A Poll
I don't care what anyone says:
CAFFEINE!
I try not to overdo it, maybe 2-3 cups a day, but boy do I love it when I have my coffee.
I don't know whether or not it's affected my weight loss, and frankly I don't pay it much mind. I do know that all things in moderation is a lesson that this surgery has taught me over and again, and that includes caffeine. The all or nothing approach doesn't work. At least for me anyway!
How about you?
xoxoxo

Thankfully I stopped drinking coffee in June. I had been having, at least, 6-8 cups per day. When I did eventually stop I had more energy and found that I did not snack as much (strange I know). With caffeine you go through higs and lows during the day. When I would hit a low I would hit the vending machine for a little sugar rush.
It was not easy. I suffered from migraine headaches for about 3 weeks after I got off of caffeine, iwas going through major withdrawls.
This is now my second time that I stopped drinking coffee. I had some decaf last month when I was in FL, and it made me want more so I do not even have that.
I must say I am glad that I no longer have it and at this time I no longer want it!!!! What I do want is some soild food. How many more weeks on puree?
I am almost 3 weeks post op and I am going crazy with this mushy stuff. But I guess it will all pay off in the long run, just like not having caffeine.
