Long Island Lap-Band Support Group Meeting Next Wed.!

 

 

                         NEXT WEDNESDAY!! Hi All!      The next meeting of the L.I. Lap-Band Support Group will be tomorrow, Wed., Wed., Oct. 4th, 7:00 PM at "Samantha's Lil Bit Of Heaven",   287 Larkfield Road, East Northport, NY 11731      "Bring Your Own Pot-Luck Dinner"!  Very informal - Bring what ever you want to eat, if you so desire!  Beverages will be provided!      If you have been banded, are waiting to be banded, or are thinking about being banded, then this meeting is for you, and you are most welcome!      This venue provides us with a private meeting area in a setting that allows quiet conversation and sharing.  It is comfortable and homey, and is NOT a religious based meeting.      If anyone has question, comments or needs directions, please contact me at 631 864-0814 or by e-mail!   Ron

Thanks Ron, I wish I was in Long Island!  Rockland county's Good Sam had their support group last night and it was really good and I actually met a really cool gal from the OH board who lives very nearby!  it was awesome.  The meeting was good but not long enough!  I feel like for a time I could really benifit from a weekly meeting but guess thats not possible unless I want to travel!  Have fun at your meeting and I hope you have a good turn out! Thanks Sandra!      We usually have a good turn out, but more important, many of us have name bonds with one another and offer real support.  We also get some folks who are considering the band or waiting for the surgery date.  It's very informal, a lot of sharing and talking.  I get a lot out of it!  Blessings, Ron
