VITAMIN QUESTION ????

Synergy Bariatrics is supposed to be developing their own vitamins similar to the nasty Optisorce. I have my next visit mid October and have been hoping they have something available by then. The Optisource are sooo awful, gritty, huge & yucky orange! I don't think I finished a bottle of them before I switched to a regular Women's One a Day. I have actually been taking 2 of them a day. My last set of labs were okay only a bit low on protein, but still within normal range. Caruana's nurse told me I could take the one a day's, but warned that my next set of labs could show I need extra calcium, b12, &/or iron. I look forward to finding out next month.

My Doctors recommended the chewables in the begining for the first few weeks until you could tolerate swallowing the regular pills.  I use the Equate Women's formula Multi-Vitamins from WalMart... My doctors did not suggest any "special" vitamins as long as you are taking a multi-vit you should be just fine... I also take calcium and B-12 ( I use the GNC B-12, they are the only ones I found that don't gag me..Nice taste to them).  All of my blood work has always come back fine taking the cheap stuff..... Just my two cents..... Lori
