I am so happy to see you back on the boards! Sexy pic!

I'm sorry to hear things have been stressful for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the job in the hospital comes through.

As for the weight gain, isn't it part of the normal curve for WLS patients to gain back about 10 pounds? Even so, if you are not happy with the extra weight and you are up for putting concentration and focus into weight loss, you will. Start small, with things that you know you can do (even if just to maintain until you're ready to lose) like one week just devote yourself to getting your fluids in every day. Just that alone helps you to focus.

I've had a tough month or so too. Our beloved dog died suddenly and unexpectedly, my marriage is in deep trouble, and I had a tummy tuck (and removal of an ovary covered with endometriosis) done in the end of August. I am still recovering from that big time, and I just started back to school to get my master's in nursing. I am just trying to put one foot in front of the other, but most days I feel like somebody put cotton in my brain. The changes from WLS are wonderful and sometimes hard, but very worth it!

So great to see your sweet face and hear your stories.

Big, big hugs to you,
Amy

Amy - Talk about having a full plate.  I think about going back to school too but just not sure where I would start or what I would study. Keep on being the inspiration to all of us.  {{{{HUGS}}}} Jessica

Britt, Yes the weight comes back so quickly if your no****ching!!! Like I have always said, this will be our cross to bear for the rest of our lives. I am so thankful for being able to have the surgery and lose the weight that I will NOT go back to being that big ever again! That is what I have to keep in mind for sure.
