Hey guys!

Hey everyone, Sorry for being MIA, but alot has been going on around here.  I had a bad infection in my PICC line that almost put me into septic shock so I was in the hospital for a couple of weeks b/c of that.  They pulled thepicc to figure out what type of infection I had(They had culture the tip) b/c all of my blood cultures were clear but my WBC count was over 15 so something was freakin wrong.  (Sorry I am so used to talking in 'medical' **** so if you dont understand, dont be afraid to ask.  Education is the key you know?)  Low and beyond the picc line tip after a few days grew a yeast infection in the picc and the same day, my blood cultures showed yeast infection in my blood stream with a WBC  of over 20 now.  (If they didnt figure out what was wrong and my WBC kept on climbing, they were going to operate to remove the septic damage if any. )   So they gave me the antibotics  for infection until my WBC went normal and no more infection in my culture. Then they put in a g-tube b/c after all of this i weighed 91 pounds!  If I could tolerate those feedings they send me home(which is just pour boost plus down the tube with w/a tool).  Then the g-tube snapped and I couldn't do the feedings and the surgeon made arrangements in radiology to replace it so back i went to the hospital.  Came home after a couple of days. That was a couple of weeks ago.  I saw the surgeon in his office on friday and we have decided (including two surgeon in the city and his partner) to takedown the RNY surgery and do a pyloroplasty, nissen fundoplication. and a hernia repair all in one shot.(lord have mercy I can feel the pains now!)  But I have to talk to Dr. Bessler (he is assisting in my surgery w/my orginal surgerons.  We are pulling out the big guns now.  I am on a academic list for having a gastric pacing put in as well.  I am hoping I dont need it after I get all of that done but we will see.  We have tried Reglan, erythromycin, or Zelnorm and amitiza to get rid of my severe post-RNY gastroparesis, which I never had any problems with before my surgery (They can see it now the stopping on upper gi and ct-scans).  They guess it will take close to 7 hours!  altogether.  wow, but surgeons are perfectionists, in which they should be. Now that my picc line infection is cleared i have to get it put back in next week for more TPN b/c i am too thin and not stable enough for that major surgery.  I have to get up to 110 before oct 16(my surgeries date) or the surgeon will cancel.  mmmm...the TPN put weight on me but there is such a high chance of infection I dont know what to do which that.  It is so hard to get 6 cans of boost in me b/c it doest move down my old stomach and sits in my g- tube.  I flu**** and it still comes back up and I just need to flu**** out b/c its not doing anything but sitting. I just have to keep my faith that things will get better for me and my family and keep on trusting my medical team, god, my pastor, friends, family  and I will be fine....but what one Hell of a ride this has been!!!  Sheesh!!  But like Kayne says,  "what doesnt kill ya makes me stronger...take this haters".  What a great song, ****y son of a b-tich(I can give him a lesson in being humble...whining about this and that while running to the bank...whatever), but great song.  If you dont know what i'm talking about...nevermind!  lol  I will be in contact before my surgeries.  Be well everyone!  love ya!!  They dont make them like like this anymore...does anyone make real sh-t anymore?
