Finally had a little time to check in, just wondering how you all are doing.  I am doing well,  maintaining at 147,  just wont budge under.   Today was my last day at  the shop I was boothrenting at,  and in a couple weeks, once I get moved in,  I will be in my old but new to me home as well as opening my new shop right outside my kitchen,  all brand new building and bathroom,  handicapped accessible.  I have been so very busy, between working all kinds of hours and then coming home to paint and demolitian, etc.  trying to get the new place ready.  I am patiently waiting for the new shop to be finished being built,  so that I can get my things set up and ready in there.  We are trying to get some things moved into the house this weekend,   I have all week to do whatever before clients start coming to new place.  Of course last night I decide to get a nasty cold or flu bug and feel like crap tonight.  I am probably a bit run down too.  I have also not been eating very well,  we are eating on the run and no time to cook a thing,  so its been fast food,  cheap and quick,  and believe it or not I am getting sick of it.  But so far some how,  I am not gaining thank god.   My daughter is doing well other than some vomiting, flem, foamy issues,  she is down 47 pounds since July 3.   If any of you have these issues maybe you can provide some help for her.  She is on some kind of med for gall bladder,  that her Dr.  issues to everyone,   I did not have this med for mine.  So I am wondering if this med causes some kind of coating on the stomach or something that may be causing this.   My Mom is down around 105 lbs or so,  and is doing great.   Hope you all are well,  and once I get moved I may be able to chime in once in a while.  Ta Ta, Have a great day Shannon 257/147/130???

Hi Shannon. Sounds like things are coming together for you. What energy you have. Anyway, the medicine that your daughter is probably taking is along the lines of "Cytotec" which coats the stomach as you said. I hope all works out well for you and Wow on maintaining 147 lbs. Take Care~~ Diane

hi shannon,,, glad your feeling good ...... try not to be a stranger...... one thing i have learned over the last 3 yrs is that it doesnt matter the number on the scale or the number in a pair of jeans what matters is the way you feel ...... i have been on both ends of the spectrum and i noticed that i cant compare with anyone else ...... its the way you feel about your self internally  i know for me i was at 119 where a lot of people wish they were but the reality was that that was way way way to little for me to weigh...... i have since put on some weight and im right where i want to be when i look in the mirror... not what the scale says .... sounds like your doing great good luck and god bless you loooooook awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow Shannon, you sure have a lot going on. I'm glad to hear that it's all good stuff though. Amazing the changes that happen as a result of this surgery, huh?

Is your daughter on Actigall? I was on that for the first year, but it didn't create any adverse side effects. Best for her to call her doc and ask about it. Send congratulations to her and your mom. How wonderful.

I am hanging in. As far as health, I am doing outstandingly well. I'm off Lipitor with better levels then when I was on it (cholesterol). I have started back to school for my masters in nursing. Challenging, but fun! The biggest challenge right now is that my marriage is dissolving, and while it's hard on me, it's very hard on my kids (10 and 14, sons). Heartbreaking all around. I'm sure we'll get though it, but it's tough.

I had a tummy tuck 4 weeks ago and even though it's early, the results are terrific.

So life bounds on at its breakneck pace. Mostly very good, with some very hard mixed in.

Nice to see your post. Keep up the good work, and try and focus a tiny part of your day to maintaining good health. You've worked so hard for it, it would be a shame to let it go!

Hugs to you!
