Quick Get away ideas?

I'm looking for an inexpensive  weekend get away idea for 4 people (2 kids, 2 adults)...within a 3 or 4 hour drive from manhattan.  any ideas?  If the hotel has an indoor pool that would be good too. Scott

We stayed in a villa there and thought that it was really nice and reasonable. Clean, clean, clean. There were deer roaming the land which was kind of nice and beautiful scenery. I can not vouch for the hotel rooms.  There are small attractions nearby for the kids. NOT the place to go if you are looking for a night life. How bout Mystic Ct.? We went there last month and it was great! I stayed at the Residence Inn Marriot but there were tons of hotels and Inns...the Seaport Museum would be fun for the kids...you get to go on the ships and man was it cool to FIT! LOL Something I never wouldve tried at 349lbs!! LOL Margie
