Hi Alexandra,
You should always call your doctor with medical questions like this one. We are here for each other to provide emotional support, but leave the medical questions to the docs. Please keep us posted!
Good luck,
Amy

Amy's right, you should call your doctor. However, to set your mind at ease a little, thin liquids like water, juice, diet tea will more-or-less run right through the pouch and down into the intestines, because there's no pyloric valve at the stomach outlet anymore. Thicker liquids like protein shakes may stick around for a little while, but not long. As long as you're not gulping, taking in more at once than your stomach can hold (remember that 2 ounce limit), you should not feel full, and you should not regurgitate liquids.

I didn't feel full or not full for a long time. I made my protein drinks and drank them then 30 minutes later i started drinking fluids, again not full or full wasn't an issue. With solid food i do get full even now and I'm almost a year and a half out.  I don't measure my food but i definitely know  when I've had enough and don't try to get more down.  Best of luck to you.
