Six month update
Congrats on all of your accomplishments in life!!! You're weightloss is amazing & I am sure getting the new job has made you feel wonderful!!
Once you get back into a routine again you'll see that everything will fall into place!! I am still pre-op so who am I to "preach" but definitely don't forget those vitamins... I have already heard the preaching about how important they are post-op!!! That is one of my biggest fears!! I am not doing this to become malnourished or less healthy than I am now so do what you can to remind yourself to take them every day!! Tatoo it on it your forehead if necessary!!
Keep up the good work!!!

Hi! I went over and checked out your LJ. Did you know there's a very active WLS community on LJ? It's probably 98% women, but there are at least a few men...some of whom are gay. There's a lot of younger people in it, but there's also quite a few of us "adults" too. I enjoy it most of the time. Every once in awhile the girls get their panties in a bunch over something....but overall it's a good group.
Just thought I'd share in case you were interested!
The link to the community is http://community.livejournal.com/wls/
There is also one called lapband that is active, but it's meant only for lapbanders. http://community.livejournal.com/lapband/
And then there's one for people who are more than a year out...that one is:
http://community.livejournal.com/life_after_wls/
they have very strict guidelines about who can join and who can't.
