Personal Trainer
I have to tell you. This is now my second week working out with my trainer. Tuesday is my surgery and I can honestly say I am ready for it!
I have not worked out like this in MONTHS. I am so happy that I have started now. It is motivating and I have re-gained energy.
I would encourage anyone who is preparing for this surgery to start exercising now. Don’t wait, even if it is walking or riding a bike. You will not believe how it good it feels.
The funny thing is. Tonight while I was waiting for my trainer, there were these beautiful, skinny girls working out and my first thought was to be jealous of them. Then I realized. I am doing exactly what these skinny ladies are doing. I am getting healthy. They are no better than me nor am I better than they
(English teachers out there did I say that right?).
Have a good evening!
Thanks Stacy for sharing your wisdom. Right now I am very motivated and psyched. But I am certain there will be times of low valleys. I agree with the support groups. I go to the one at Mercy and I was headed for the last Panera one but had a car accident. The next support group at Mercy is the day of my surgery but I will be at them post-op. Thanks again! Oh and Cheri, yes he is cute and I think single. However I am a happily married woman so I must say I did not give it mcuh thought. Especially hanging upsdie down (a 275 pound woman hanging upside down doing situps is not very lovely to look at and the only thing I am thinking during my work out is "How am I going to get off this crazy piece of equipment without falling on my face, or getting my really big, tight, t-shirt not stcuk on the knob causing it to get torn... ?"
Nevertheless, it is fun!
