Oct 27th sounds good.  applebee's could also accomodate a big group and it's got post op friendly foods.

The 27th seems fine to me. Applebee's is cool as well. I would try the one on 50th (I think) and 7th, though. The Times Square one can be a bit...pain in the ass.

The one in Time's Square is overrun with tourist and personally I'd rather ride the subway naked than deal with that many tourist.  There is a restaurant at Central Park South called Sarabeth's, they have wonderful food, great service and it's also centrally located by Columbus Circle.  Here's their link fro menupages, everyone can clearly see from the menu there is plenty available for WLS patients to enjoy. http://www.menupages.com/restaurantdetails.asp?areaid=0&rest aurantid=6089&neighborhoodid=0&cuisineid=0 Brunch is from 8am till 4pm and around 2pm is the ideal time to go, it isn't crowed and G*d knows we won't be swamped with tourist and can also  avoid Times Square.

And YES I still eat Carbs and Fats but I know what portion control is!!

i'm not a fan at all of applebee's so i guess our preferences cancel each other out. :) anyone else offer suggestions, PLEASE no "fast food" in a greasy setting (how i view applebee's, as i waitressed at one in college)
