I need everyones help with this.......

Ok, my name is Linda and I had surgery on June 26th, 2007, and have had a few issues, first one being that I was not able to keep anything down, went back and forth to the dr just to be told hears some pills to help with the nasua and call us in a few days and tell us how you are feeling. Look im not a complaining type and did not call took the pills for a few days and went about my life and stopped taking them (I ran out). Figered why take them and see where things go. Seconed issue has caused a few more issues. I have lost over 70 lbs in a little over 2 months, having bone pain so bad I cry, still cant eat, toss more then what stays down..Not even eatting 100 cals a day, not dinking 16 ozs a day...so i thought i was doing ok...losing and all...well i called the clinic today to schedule a follow up cause they sent me a letter to. and they want to see me thursday and admit me to the hospital....has this happened to anyone else...cause at this moment im scared to death...not sure what is going to happen to me...im so confused,,,if this has happened to anyone else please let me know....thanks... oh pss how do you get the little tracker at the end of the comments...

Hey sweetie, I did not have RNY, but it doesn't sound good.  Your body is starving...  That is A LOT OF WEIGHT TO LOSE in that short a period of time!!!!  Are you able to get the food in and it's coming back out?  or do you just not feel like eating at all?  Maybe you have a stricture? This is NOT the way the RNY works.. go to your doctor and make sure they see what you are doing. You are currently malnourished most likely. Good luck PS- edit your account- go to ticker factory create it. copy the 'web address' and paste it in your signature.. every week (or whenever) when you update ticker factory.com you 'signature' will reflect the most recent entries you've made.  Of course worry about this.. AFTER you are losing weight at a sensible rate.

Linda,  I will be praying for you..I'm sure they will figure out what the problem is and fix ya up! 

Linda,      When is the last time you spoke to the surgeons?  Have you told them how little you are consuming?  From what you have said it sounds as if you are dehydrated.  I know that your actually surgeon is no long practicing, but Dr. C should be able to help you.   It is possible that you may need to to be hospitalized for some IV fluids and hydration.         Good luck to you.  I hope everything works out for you.   Let us know how you are doing. Oh honey you need a big hug   I am so sorry you are having these issues....I don't have any advice, but wanted to let you know that I will be praying for you.

some people face minor complications early out .... the best thing you did was bring it to your doctors attention....... they will figure it out and you will be fine... i have known others to have had early on problems so dont ignore it go to the doc and let him check you out ..... best of luck to u and god bless
