Sandra, Hi and welcome! Congratulations on your surgery, it looks like you are doing great!! I am scheduled for Lap RNY on 9/11 and I can't wait to be sharing the loser's bench with you. You are doing just great with your weight loss. 
I can relate to the fact that sometimes it's not fun but also a blessing that we finally did something about our weight.
Two lapbanders, off the top of my head, that come on this board are Cherie & Chelle...both dolls. 
They will be so excited to talk to you as well. They are doing fantastic and have nothing but good things to say about their bands.
Keep popping in with your questions or to just share.
It can be overwhelming at times but that's why we are all here for each other.
