I'm Home!

Thanks Jennifer.  It feels good to finally be here.  So, how has your journey been so far?

 

My journey has been uneventful and kind of smooth so far.  I am down 52 lbs in 9 weeks and it feels good.  Still trying and testing new foods.  Which can drive you nuts.  But it is trial and error.  I don't like the error part though...LOL  I am still getting used to eating in small quantities.  My mental outlook still has to catch up with my physical.  I still think I can eat all on the plate, but my pouch will let me know differently.  I am starting to feel hunger now and sometimes I have to remind myself to slow down with eating otherwise I get sick.  But all in all it has been a smooth journey so far.  I hope you have the same smooth journey as I have...

Yay Mama! I'm so happy to hear you're home. Just keep sipping. It gets easier over time and things change quickly. This is an amazing time. Open yourself to change and you will be amazed at what happens. Welcome to the other side of surgery. I am so pleased for you.

Thank you sweet Amy.  I so glad to have made this important start in my new life.  I'm looking forward to the changes.  Right now it doesn't seem like anything is going to happen, but I know it will.

ohhh sweetie I am sorry I am late posting with this!  I have  a PICC line infection and it was terrible but anyway I wish you nothing but the best.  Each day it will get easier sweetie.  I know about the in  and out of bed thing but you will get the hang of what works for you soon enough. Hey Miss Tavia.  I read all about what was going on with you.  Sounds like you've been having a real struggle lately.  It's one after the other it seems.  You are always in my mind and in my thoughts.  I think last I read you were going for a liver test?  Is that right?  How did that go?
