I'm Home!

WooHoo!!  I'm home!  Thank you Karen for being a contact for Chris and posting about my surgery.  I really appreciate it. Well, I'm quite sore.  I've had no pain meds today, but I may take one tonight.  I'll see how I feel.  The hard part is getting in and out of bed.  Who knew that we use our abs that much? Anyway, I'm trying really hard to get in my fluids.  That's the hard part.  Getting up and walking is easier. Oh well.  I have a major headache right now, so I'm getting off of the computer.  I just wanted to touch base with everyone.

I know it's hard to get out of bed, I slept either in a recliner or on one of those "husbands", those pillows that look like a chair. I couldn't lay flat for weeks!

It's so important to walk around, even when we don't feel like it. Keep up the great work, and sip, sip, sip.

By the way, you're welcome; but it's truly my pleasure to do something small for someone whose support means so much to me--you and everyone here.

I tried getting comfy on the recliner part of the sofa...not happening.  I did go upstairs to bed.  I had no problem getting in, but Chris needs to help me out.  At least I was comfortable through the night.

WELCOME HOME....and great news!  Yes, getting out of bed was a production....but, every day gets better.  I'm so happy that you are on your way....and just remember...don't overdo... Rosemary

Thanks Rosemary.  I'm trying to pace myself and take it slow.  I feel alot better than I thought I would.  Each day I can do more and more.
