I Can't Remember

If any of my fellow Dr. Moon patients see this, can you please reply?  I was so scattered when I saw him this week that I can't remember what he said about the liquid diet that I have to be on today.   I know that I have to be on liquids all day and night and then nothing after midnight tonight.  What I can't remember is if he said CLEAR liquids or just liquids?  I only wonder because if I can have Slim-Fast and Protein Shakes, I will gladly have them...but if I'm not supposed to then I need to know it.   So, can you guys please clarify for me what the rules of the pre-op liquid diet are?   Thanks!

Hey sweetie.  I would think that if your surgery is tomorrow, then it's clear liquids.  I've been on a regular liquid diet for 2 weeks and today, starting at 3pm, only clear liquids (broth, crystal  lite, tea, sf jello) and then nothing after midnight. Good luck tomorrow!!
