PRE-REGISTRATION FOR THE ONE AND ONLY 2008 RUBY CRUISES CRUISE TO LOSE IS...

Yes, deposits are due October 15th.  1 & 2 are the first two passengers in a stateroom, and what the cruise fare is based on.  3 & 4 refers to a third and/or forth passenger in the same cabin.  So the first two pay the regular rate, and the 3 &/or 4th are discounted.   Single cruisers can go, but the cruise lines will charge extra for one person alone in a stateroom.  I know, it's not fair, but all of the cruise lines do it.  That's one of the reasons we did the pre-registration form - to enable us to see how many "single" cruisers would like to go so that we can provide the opportunity for those interested to meet each other via email, phone, or in person if in the same geographic area before hand and if all is agreeable, share expenses.  We matched 8 "single" cruisers for next month's Cruise to Lose, and we figured that if we added this field of interest to our pre-reg form, we could get a jump on it, and allow those interested to meet!   I will notify all those who have expressed intrest in a cabin mate within the next week or so - with permission from each individual, I will pass along contact info, and then everyone involved can take it from there!  Payments can be set up however it works best.  My single cruisers this year each made their own deposits and payments, and everything worked quite well! I am so excited about these cruises, and I cannot WAIT to meet all of our OH'ers in person!

I wish I had known about the 2007 cruise! I must have been hiding under a rock or something but I never heard about it I just preregistered for the 2008 cruise!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Hugs to all, Karen PS: I clicked on "Oceanview" as my preference but I may want to change that...is that okay?

Hi Karen!  I'm so glad you pre-registered!  You know, I never even thought to post on the individual state boards - my daughter was watching me type away here the other day, and she noticed the individual states forums, and she said, "Mom, why aren't you sharing the Cruise to Lose with each state?"  Talk about feeling a big "DUH" hang over my head! LOL  So I take the blame!  I should have posted here about this year's cruise.  I apologize.  BUT I can make up for it with the even BIGGER AND BETTER 2008 CRUISE TO LOSE!  WOOOO HOOOO! LOL  Really, next year's event is gonna be GREAT - we're adding more docs to our team of specialists, and a fitness instructor too!  It's going to be a BLAST, and I cannot WAIT!   Yes, you can change your cabin category at any time before final payment.  I'll be sending out reminders and room mate match emails soon!   Glad you pre-registered, Karen!  I look forward to meeting you!   ~ Terri
