All paperwork done....
Got a call from Dr. Caruana's office today....Gail said they have everything except my thyroid levels. Didn't realize I needed those..... so now I have to call my PCP tomorrow to get a script for those. Hopefully they are normal. I just read that other post where he won't give the go ahead of they aren't...so i'm nervous. BUT....Gail did let me make my appt with Dr. C! YEAHHHHHH so now what..i go meet him... assuming my thyroid levels are normal....is that it? or are there more tests and obstacules to overcome before I get a date?? My appt with Dr. C is Sept 13.. whooohooooo!!!
I have gone through my paperwork, they have put my insurance through and said wait for that and after i get my approval they would call my that Friday to set up the appointments to get my other tests done and then I would meet with Dr.Caruana after all of that to meet every one that will be in the oporating room with me. I have gotten my approval letter and want so bad to call his office but I am doing what they told me and they told me to wait. It is coming soon. So I do believe that there is more tests to come. I know there is for me. Jaimee

Yes, Gail is the girl at the front desk. I actually saw Dr. C first...then I went through all the preps...PCP approval, exercise appt, shrink and nutrition class. I was lucky...as soon as I had all my preliminaries done, they approved me overnight. Then they set your surgery appointment within a month after that...it really moves fast after the insurance approval.
