My surgery is scheduled!!!!

I finally got my surgery date .......September 11!! It's actually one day before my sister's (Karen I.) 1 year surgiversary!!! I am very excited and at the same time a little dissappointed that it couldn't be sooner.

I can't wait to be a loser!! Make sure you save me a spot on the bench! Take Care, Lisa

Lisa, Stephanie was just going to send mine in for approval. I have Oxford and I have heard they are pretty good about approving the surgery. You still have plenty of time to get your approval, but I know how you feel. The waiting is the worst part. My sister didn't hear that she was approved until after she went for Presurgical testing!!! Imagine how stressful that must have been. Good luck on your approval. I'm pulling for you. I know you were denied before, but each time is different. Try to be optimistic. Make sure you update us on your progress, Hugs, Lisa

Congratulations Lisa!! it IS SOOOOOO exciting :) I think September 11th / september 12th is a perfect excuse to celebrate with your sister every year!!!!! You will be amazed how fast it goes. Especially since you will be getting the kids ready to start school. Plan to get lots done before your surgery so when you are home from surgery ... you can rest easy! hugs, Britt
