how long does it take for psy report??
My next step is to meet with a nut.......but I can't do that until the psy sends over my report to Dr. Caruana. Any ideas how long it take Dr. lelito (psy) to get that done??? I'm sure I'm being impatient......but I want to call and say "hey....can ya get that done pleae!"... I wont' call... not yet anyway....
Thanks!
One thing that I would advise is that you call each office every few days and ask if they received it, or if they sent it. Sometimes offices tend to take time to send things over and you have to take the bull by the horns and make sure that everything is going where it's supposed to. Yes, you can across like a pain in the butt, but you have to keep the ball rolling or who else will do it for you.
Good luck with it all!

It can vary depending on how much of a workload the Psych has, as well as what the bariatric office (or insurance company) requires on their psych report.... was a full MMPI done? or only a basic evaluation? how much detail does your surgeon (or ins co) want in the report? is it an actual written report? or is it a more basic "fill in the blank" type form?
Many variables involved.
Different surgeon and different psych for me.... my psych told me 2-3 weeks... yet when he got the fax from my surgeon as a sample of what they wanted, it was so simple (to my psych) that he had it submitted to my surgeon before the end of the week.
I'd give it about a week to week and a half, then call your surgeon's office and see if they've received anything yet... if not, then give until the end of the 2nd week and call the psych to follow up on the status. You never know if/when a psych might be "testing" a patient for part of his report.
Best of luck
