Support group in Westchester?

I am moving from the Jersey Shore to Westchester in the near future, and I want to continue going to support group meetings. Anyone know of a support group in Westchester? Is there one at WMC?

Hi Randy Yes, we have a support group at Obesity Surgery Associates in Valhalla. Right across the hi ghway from Westchester Medical Center. Those are the surgeons that operate at WMC. I help out with the group. We meet 2 times a month at 6pm. Would you like to be placed on the email list for when the reminders go out? Thanks, Marie. I'll be planning to attend as soon as I get moved. When are the two meetings? I knew Tom Cerabona back when I was a resident at WMC. He wanted to do a bypass on me then, but in those days, they were only doing open, and they were still doing distal roux-en-Ys, and there was NO way I was going through it! (I saw a couple of his early failures when I was the ICU resident...) He'll be quite surprised to see me, I think. I'm fairly sure I'm already lighter now than I was when I started medical school there, or very close to it.

There is also a support group the 3rd Thursday of every month ..7pm St John's Riverside Hospital in the board room.  It's in Yonkers....Next meeting August 16.
