dr harry sax

hi everyone i am from pawtucket r.i and i had my first appt. with dr. sax all they did was talk to me and took some blood i was wondering if anyone knows what happens next ? thank you for your time

Hi Patti jo. Welcome to the board. Not sure if this Dr. is your PCP or surgeon. If he is your surgeon he should have outlined all of the upcoming tests that you will be needing to be eligible for WLS. They will be pre certified by your insurance company. You have to find out the protocol necessary for surgery from your insurance company. (possibly 6 month documented diet with your PCP) Anyway, good luck on your journey. Take Care~~ Diane
