I AM IN THE PUREED STAGE OF POST OP.  SO I CAN HAVE TENDERLY COOKED VEGETABLES, LOW FAT RICOTTA CHEESE, ETC............I MADE SOME SOUP WITH CHICKEN BROTH, A CAN OF TOMATOES CRUSHED AND SOME FROZEN VEGETABLES THAT HAS BEEN COOKING MOST OF THE DAY.  BEFORE I WENT TO THIS STAGE, I USED BROTH AS A LIQUID AS LONG AS I TOOK IN A LOT OF WATER.  NOW THAT I AM ON THE PUREED STAGE, CAN I STILL COUNT THE BROTH AS LIQUID OR DO I NEED TO COUNT THAT SOME OTHER WAY.  I JUST DON'T WANT TO EAT TOO MUCH.

Teri. Hi, Yes broth counts as a liquaid but you also have to get in water too. Which i'm sure you already know that. I hope the seeds don't bother you from the tomatoes. The soup sounds yummy. How are you doing? How much have you lost so far?  Sheila

THANK YOU SHEILA...................I AM DRINKING WATER. I'M EATING SF POPSICLES.  I HAD SOME BROCOLLI IN THE TOMATO BROTH.  IT WAS DELICIOUS.  I PUT MY 1/4 CUP OF LOW FAT RICOTTA CHEESE IN WITH THE VEGETABLES AND BROTH.  IT WAS SO GOOD.  I'M DOING WELL, BUT I HAVEN'T LOST ANY IN A FEW DAYS AS I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM.  FORTUNATELY THAT HAS CHANGED TODAY, SO TOMORROW SHOULD BE BETTER.  THANKS FOR ASKING.

Tessie;      Sounds like you made an awesome soup.   I still find soup is one of the easier things for me to eat.  I would probably not count the soup towards the total liquids.  Want most of that to come from the water.   Don't worry about the scale not moving for a day or two.  You will have that.  I won't pretend it is not fustrating because it is...............VERY but we have to remember that it will come off.  Slow and steady wins the race........   You are doing great!!!!
