nope. it's DEFINATELY not just you. The doc told me yesterday to take Mirialax or Senecot & if that doesn't work to take both. Yikes!

It is not you!! I have changed so much since surgery. I am lucky that I go once a week now. I went to the doctor on Wednesday and he told me to take Glyco-Lax and senacot for a few days!! So it is not you!!!! Tara

My doc has said that unless I'm uncomfortable, to not worry about the BM's as they will take care of themselves as needed. Be super-careful about the whole scale-BM-laxative combo. My sister is battling that whole side of this that no one talks about much.

Hi, Don't worry about the weight yo-yoing...I did that for about 3 weeks...about a month after my surgery.  I have finally started losing steadily...2 to 4 pounds a week.  The BM situation comes from the high-protein diet.  I found a little relief after I introduced veggies in my diet. Rosemary

Hello hun ~hugs~ It is not only you, we all slow down from time to time as our bodies play catch up. As far as the BM's well that is something that has changed for me in a big way. At the beginning I would have constipation and had to take Mirolax (which is awesome and gentle stuff) but now since I have added the good fat to my diet (nuts, fish and other things) it helps so much. Be careful with the stool softeners, sometimes your body can get hooked on them and you will not be able to go unless you use them. Try the Mirolax stuff, now you can get it over the counter and it is non habit forming! i wish you all the best hun ~hugs~

cheri,  Hi, I am having problems to with theI didn't go in a week so I took duxolex 2 tablets and went with in 1 hour and had no crapping. Don't even wory about that stupid scale your body flucuactes daily. Weigh your self once a week. The weight is gonna come off don't worry. You are doing awsome 38 lbs in almost 5 weeks. You go girl!!! .  Sheila

Doubt it's just you. I hear others on here who've said similar. Plus my friend, Comet had WLS 2 days after me (5/31/07) & she's experiencing same as you. Called me crying several days out 'cause she couldn't go #2. Stool softners help her out as well. I on the other hand have noted no changes in bowel habits.
