Good Morning All, ~hugs~ OK I made a choice to get myself back on a healthy eating plan and took Amy's advice with the South Beach eating plan. I got the book yesterday and started to read it. I cleaned out almost all of my junk food and sent it packing with hubby this morning. I have some fresh fruit that I will try to eat over the next day or so (I can not throw that stuff out, way to much $$$ right now) and I am going shopping this morning to get some things that I might need on the first 2 weeks of the plan. As I am leaning about the plan I see that this is something that is healthy and I can stick with it as a healthy eating plan. Now I just have to get my butt back in gear and get my walk on again! One step at a time, I am hoping to make my list here shortly and get out. Also I want to finish the book today so I can start over the weekend. Just wanted to put it in writing and making myself accountable for this new plan!!! Thanks as always my OH family

I hear ya on the exercise.......I tend to go in spurts. I NEED to make it an every day event. During the summer im in the gardens, and that is exercise, but I want to start walking in the fall. Im not 100% yet after my TT, but in another month I will be.

I still want to loose, my goal is 165.  I tell ya its the last 20lbs that take forever!!!!!!

Kathy, Yes the last 20 ARE the hardest! and this is where the REALLY hard work come into play.....well shoot, who am I kidding this whole thing is hard work. But SOOOOO worth it!!! Thanks again hun

Hi Sweetie!

We all need to remember the only person we're accountable to is ourselves.  Occasionally we beat ourselves up, which makes things worse.  I think you're doing awesome.  I've heard that South Beach is a great plan.  I'll be curious to see how you're doing!  Keep up that positive attitude!!!

Good for you, my Take-Charge Friend! SB is a great plan, for you AND the whole family! And if you can get your family into it too, won't it be nice to not have to eat differently than the rest of them? Good luck Sweetie!
