Thank you, Mary! My next goal besides maintenance and plastics, is incorporating a new exercise, whether that's bicycling or running, I want to change things up and just keep doing new things! Take care, Sue

Maintenance is a great goal  I've been struggling with a fear of regain since I hit maintenance.  Plastics make sure a huge difference.  I can't believe what my lower body lift did for me; it isn't an easy surgery but it is so totally worth it.  I went from a tight 14 to a 8 or 10 after my plastics.   Isn't it wonderful to want to try new things.  I think it sounds like you have a great plan to mix things up with your exercise.  Right now I am focused on running because I am training for the NYC marathon.  After that I will probably mix things up more. Have a great day, Mary

I think the key for me is to never become too complacent with my food or exercise.  I remember talking to my surgeon months ago and telling him that I was fully aware that when I reached my goal that I knew that it didn't mean, ok, now I can cut back on exercising or anything like that.  The changes I've made have to be kept (or maintained) in order for me to maintain my weight loss. The funny thing is that now that I walk so much, I feel like I want to move faster, whether that means bicycling or running, I want to move!  It's a great feeling. Can you imagine yourself years back saying that you would be training for the marathon? Those words would never be strung into one sentence in relation to me at all so I am so proud of myself and you and all of us who are using this tool to get out there and improve ourselves, our lives, the lives of our families and our communities. Take care and have a wonderful weekend! Sue

Thank you, Britt! You are an inspiration to me too.  I read your profile about being accountable for your weight and joining WW and I so agree with it.  Just because I hit my goal does not mean I am done, it's just the beginning of a new phase.  I forgot how to change my signature, I'm a bit slow on where the options are here.  Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks! Sue
