Gastrointestinal Consultation???

Hi all.  Well the pre-op journey has begun smoothly and I have all of my appointments scheduled already.  Thursday I have my gastro consultation and I was wondering what happens at this one???  And then next week I have my cardiac consult and abdominal sonogram.  Any insight as to what they will do would be great.  Thank you so much.

 

Hello and congrats on moving forward... I know for me I had my consult the same day I have my surgeons consult so for me the next step was having the scope. I guess they will talk to you on how and when that will be done (if your DR requires it). Cardiac consult for me was going over my history and scheduling an Eco of the heart! Some need a stress test as well. As for the sonogram, I did not need one so sorry I can not help you there. It is so hard as every Dr is different. I wish you all the best! Keep us posted.
