I don't think I have really hit a platue but just a slight stall.  My dr told me to up my protein and exercise a little more.  hope that helps

A girls gotta find some fun somewhere.

Plateaus are the worst.  I just ended one that lasted almost 3 weeks.  I was not even 2 months out.  It is very fustrating.   I wish I had a magical answer for you but I do not.   I just tried to increase my exercise, kept track of calories, stayed away from carbs, increased water and made sure I was getting the 80 gm of protein a day.  I have lost 4 lbs in the last few days so I hope that means I have ended this one.   It sounds like you have done wonderful with your weight loss though and you really shouldn't try to get discouraged (Easier said then done I know).    Sometimes our bodies just need a chance to catch up with us.   Good luck!

Congrats on your amazing weight loss! I don't get too hung up on the scale's number at all. It drives me too crazy so I'm lucky if I weigh in at once a month. I can tell if I am losing by the way my close fit. The inches are what matter most to me anyway. If you have increased your exercise then you should try to up your protein intake.  Obviously you are doing something right to have lost such a significant amt. of weight....sooooo keep it up. Take Care~~ Diane

Hi Myah,You must be feeling great about the 73 pounds. Don't let the plataeu get you down. It's your body's way of catching up with the rapid change. That said, I have found that carb intake can severly (not said lightly) impede weight loss. You might want to cut back on fruits, breads, pasta, rice, potatoes, etc and see if that makes a difference. Also increasing exercise can break a stall.
Good luck and congratulations!Amy

If you check on the main board, there's a plateau buster diet. It seems to be quite popular there. If you don't find it, I'll find to and post it.
