Update on Javajane

A little hi there and hello to my fellow New Yorkers! I went to see Laurie today at Arnot. She's doing well. It was exciting for me because I've never met anyone from OH before! I was honored to have met her. She's a very sweet & genuine person. She seems to be in good spirits and only expressed her concern over some pain in her shoulder. Other than that, she can't wait for the leak test and to get home to her three kids! She's extremely pleasant to talk to, so if any of you ever get a chance to talk to her, do it. Collette (momsgrouchy) was also there just as I was leaving. It was also great to meet her!  Everyone should take sign her support page or drop her a PM, if they get the chance. It'll really lift her spirits! Jen Halliday 

Thank you Jen!   Laurie is one of the friendliest people I've ever met.  She called me right up on the phone as soon as we "met" here on the boards and via a mutual friend.  I love that!  She's truly a sweetheart.   I'm SO happy to hear that all went well!  Do you know if she's scheduled for release on Wednesday or Thursday?  She lives very close to me, and I'd like to visit her when she's home.  

I believe that she said they're doing the leak test tomorrow and she'll be released on Thursday. I believe that's what they're projecting.

SO GLAD TO HEAR SHE IS DOING WELL.  LET HER KNOW THAT I WAS THINKING ABOUT HER.  I AM HAVING MY SURGERY TOMORROW SO I WILL BE OFFLINE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS.
