You are in my prayers for a perfect surgery, swift recovery, minimal discomfort, and a peacful nights sleep. God Bless you. One of my favorite scriptures that I pray whenever I am nervous is in Proverbs, A Man/Woman who trusts in the Lord shall be safe. I am trusting that God will fill you with peace, guide your surgeons' hands and cause you to have a long, healthy and vibrant new start to life when you wake up.  Have fun on the loser's bench.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers.   You couldn't be in more capable hands with Dr. C.   Always remember if God brings you to it, he will bring you through it.   What a great knowledge knowing we serve a God who cares about each and every one of us.   Remember to get up and walk as much as you can.   Use your incentive spirometer and remember to cough even though it hurts a little.   Got to get that gas out of your lungs.   You will find all the staff at the hospital to be very friendly and helpful.  Not sure how the others felt, but personally I wouldn't drag a lot of things with you.    You won't feel like doing much as far as reading, knitting, ect...  I did listen to my IPOD a little bit.  Chap stick is a lifesaver.   They will supply a fan for you.   Your going to do great and come through with flying colors.    See you on the loosers side Sally
