Overwhelming.. But I'm ready to start this journey

I just completed my third WLS information session in three months and boy is it overwhelming. BUT I am ready to begin this journey and change my life forever. Does anyone know of any in person or online support groups for people thinking of WLS surgeries who live in the Bronx, New York? Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks, Miss1775

I DON'T HAVE ANY INFO FOR YOU EITHER, BUT GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY.  MY SURGERY IS SCHEDULED FOR THE 18TH.

Welcome and congrats on starting your jouney.  I have to say that this site is extremely helpful and supportive with any questions you may come across.  This has been my main support.  Ask your surgeon if they have any support groups in the hospital you are planning on surgery with .  Good luck and hope to hear from you more here. Just wanted to say welcome and the best of luck on your journey, taking one day at a time is the plan that works the best or else it can be very overwhelming that is for sure!!! This is a great journey filled with many ups and downs but SOOO worth the change in your life! Keep us posted!
