Chelle...are you there?
Ok I am gonna gripe now:
I find it disconcerting when people who are VERY active on the board PRE-OP totally disappear POST-OP!
It leaves us to wonder/worry what the issue is.
Are they having complications?
Are they depressed and isolating?
Are they struggling with food issues?
I guess what I'm saying is that I think it's VERY important to stay connected here and in "real-life" support groups....ESPECIALLY right after surgery in those Toddler months!
Okay...off my soapbox I go!
Hugs,
Karen
Yes, I am here...no I did not leave you all. My mom got very sick and was in the hospital with Kidney failure and she was septic. She pulled through but I was back and forth from my house in Apalachin to Sayre PA everyday for over a week. Then I got injured on my foot and was on crutches for a few days. Then after that I cut my arm open and was down for the count then. Then on top of all that I ripped the sheeth that goes over the tendon in my right hand and have been in therapy for that. Top that off with 7 kids whom have been sick off and on and are all out of school. It has been crazy. So NO I did not leave or stop posting on purpose.
Then the dog died and two kittens died and man....it has just been strange crazy here.
I would never abandon my support group and the friends I have made here. Life happens and being a mom of many kids, a mom who is diabled and sickly...I lose some free time.
Now, I am doing great and feeling MUCH better! My mom is MUCH better and I am still losing. 69 pounds down! WOW! I am doing great. I feel great nad not struggling at all. I am so ready to keep going pressing to my mark! SHAZAM BABY!
