First Post

My first appt with the surgeon was 2/7/07 surgery is now scheduled for 8/2/07.  This is really going fast, i am overwhelmed, happy, scared you name it that emotion is going on lol.  Any suggestons.  I did think iw ould have had more time to adjust to it all as they told me at first appt it would tae a year or more to get a surgery date. Welcome. Congrats on your surgery date.  It is a roller coaster of a ride but its so worth every min of it.  Just sit back and enjoy the ride.  Best of luck to you for a textbook surgery and a quick and easy recovery.  I suggest you read profiles and ask as many questions as you can think of. Thanks :) nice to kow i am normal with something LOL.  I am and still will continue to read up on all of this.  I d o have a friend *****cently wen thru surgery so she is being driven nuts with questions and concerns :) thanks again

Hi Lisa, Welcome to the boards!!!  There is a wealth of information and some really great ppl on here. I just wanted to let you know that the feelings you are having are all normal.  You will feel these feelings up until they wheel you to the OR.  Just sit back and know that you made the decision to be healthy.  Before you know it, it will be all over and you will be joining us on the loser's bench.  It is a great journey you are taking!!!
