I have a date, I have a date, I have a date!!!!

Finally, I saw the surgeon yesterday, I have a date ,August 13th. I can't believe it. there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Now I can really get nervous, you know what they say, nurses make the worse patients.  Thanks for listening   Darlene

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Congrats, Dar!!!  You'll fly through loads of emotions between now and then!  The outcome will definitely be worth the wait!!

As a nurse, you know we all bring different issues to the table.  I always have faith that we'll all fly through surgery without incident!   Of course it's a major surgery, so we all face unforeseen  problems.  Get that happy hat on and roll with it.  Life will be good!!!  er, GREAT!!!!  What surgery are you planning on?

Cheri, Of course, you are right, I'm getting ahead of myself, I'm worring about all the what if's..... I am having bypass surgery.  Darlene

As WLS patients, we all worry/have worried.  I am a single mom of a 21 yo son.  I wrote him a letter the night before my surgery, in case something happened during surgery, so I know the nervousness you're speaking about.  Keep you chin up and trust this is the one of the best decisions you'll make for yourself!
